What’s customary amount to tip for guide, housekeeping staff, dining team ect? Do you tip daily or at end of the stay?
Although service is the lodge’s absolute pleasure you may tip the staff if they have exceeded your expectations. Most guests leave a gratuity after their stay upon check out. If you like, you can specify who this should go to. Otherwise you could work roughly on around R200 (ZAR) per person in your party/day as a fair gratuity. They would then distribute equally to all staff.
